Dinner or lunch cooked especially for you

Whether it be a lovely getting together of family and friends, a birthday party, wedding anniversary, or graduation celebration, William/chef can come to your home and cook you a superb dinner, using wonderful local ingredients.

We can also help lay your table, serve drinks and your meal and do all the washing up and clearing of your kitchen before we leave – letting you relax and enjoy the whole occasion as much as your guests.

 

Starters

Crab cakes with mango and sweet corn salsa and slices of avocado and rocket

Fig and Cornish blue cheese strudel with shallots, walnuts and honey (V)

Moules mariniere – local mussels with shallots, garlic, parsley, white wine and cream

Pan fried scallops with crispy pancetta, capers and mixed salad leaves

Mixed local charcouterie – bresaola, various salami, black olives, sun dried tomatoes and shavings of parmesan

Trio of globe artichoke hummus, olive tapenade and tomato and red pepper takouka, served with mixed crostini

Mains

Roast fillet of beef with a rich Madeira gravy, served with a Hollandaise sauce*

Fillet of pork wrapped in Parma ham and stuffed with prune, cranberry and sage

John Dory, with a roasted tomato and smoked bacon salsa

Noisettes of venison loin, wrapped in bacon and served with a red wine chocolate sauce

Roast Cornish duck with quince and figs

Butternut squash steak with harissa butter, served with a chickpea and tomato stew with Moroccan spices (vegan)

Nut roast with almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, hazlenuts and lentils with a tomato and chipotle salsa (vegan)

Vegetables

Dauphinoise, Hasselback, Roast, Sautéed or Duchess potatoes

Roasted carrots with garlic and ginger

Roasted parsnips

Leeks with a gruyere cheese sauce

Red cabbage with orange, apples, onions and cloves

Brussel sprouts with bacon and chestnuts

A selection of steamed, seasonal, local vegetables

Desserts

Lemon merinuge pie made with William’s almond butter pastry

Crème brulee with honey, whiskey and Drambuie

Chocolate and hazelnut torte

Pisatchio tiramisu

Crème caramel with caramel oranges

Dark treacle sticky toffee pudding with lime ice cream

 

How It Works

Choose the starter, main course and dessert that you would like to offer your guests (we ask that you give your guests a maximum of two choices per course).  

William’s homemade bread and pre-dinner nibbles are also included.

Let us know if you would like any additional dishes such as sorbets, or a cheese course added.
