Dinner or lunch cooked especially for you

Whether it be a lovely getting together of family and friends, a birthday party, wedding anniversary, or graduation celebration, William/chef can come to your home and cook you a superb dinner, using wonderful local ingredients.

We can also help lay your table, serve drinks and your meal and do all the washing up and clearing of your kitchen before we leave – letting you relax and enjoy the whole occasion as much as your guests.

 

Starters

Frittata of monk fish, squid and prawn with salad leaves and homemade tartar sauce

Pan fried scallops with chargrilled asparagus, lemon zest and marjoram

Caesar salad with sliced breast of chicken, a mild anchovy dressing and parmesan croutons

Beef carpaccio with pecorino cheese, rocket and red currant compote

Buffalo burrata cheese served with heritage mixed tomatoes, pangrattato and basil oil (V)

Chargrilled baby leeks with tomato and red pepper coulis, roasted almonds and basil oil (Vg)

Mains

Fillet* of beef with a rich Madeira gravy and served with Hollandaise sauce

Breast of free-range chicken wrapped in Parma ham and stuffed with sun dried tomato and ricotta cheese

Spring rack of lamb roasted with rosemary and served with red currants and aioli

Sea bass fillet with wilted spinach and served with beurre blanc

Salmon en croute with pesto and cherry tomato salsa

Spring onion and Cornish goats cheese galette with roasted beetroot, parsley and toasted pinenuts (V)

Coconut curry rice noodles with smoked tofu, cashew nuts, pak choi, carrots, green beans and fresh coriander (Vg)

(* supplement charged for fillet of beef)

Vegetables

Sauteed potatoes with rosemary and garlic

Cornish new potatoes with butter and chives

Duchess potatoes

Pan-fried courgettes with fresh mint and garlic

Green couscous with asparagus, broad beans, peas, mint and lemon zest

Buttered carrots

Aubergine, tomato and basil gratin

Steamed seasonal local vegetables – as available

Desserts

Summer pudding served with baby brown sugar meringues

Rhubarb and strawberry compote served with a crème brûlée topping and a brandy snap biscuit

Orange and passion fruit jelly with fresh exotic fruits and homemade vanilla ice cream

Lemon cheesecake with a ginger biscuit base and homemade blackcurrant ice cream

Black forest mousse cake with cherries and crème fraîche

Raspberry and almond tart served with clotted Cornish cream

 

How It Works

Choose the starter, main course and dessert that you would like to offer your guests (we ask that you give your guests a maximum of two choices per course).  

William’s homemade bread and pre-dinner nibbles are also included.

Let us know if you would like any additional dishes such as sorbets, or a cheese course added.
