Dinner or lunch cooked especially for you

Whether it be a lovely getting together of family and friends, a birthday party, wedding anniversary, or graduation celebration, William can come to your home and cook you a superb dinner, using wonderful local ingredients.

Starters

Warm crab tart baked with saffron, mushroom béchamel and served with a green leaf salad

Mussels with lemon grass, chilli, ginger, coconut milk and coriander

Filo pastry tarts with caramelised red onion, Cornish goats cheese and toasted walnuts (V)

Pan-fried scallops with chorizo and sage butter

Game terrine with pheasant, partridge, venison and pork, served with apple chutney

Sweet corn fritters with mango and avocado salsa (plant based)

Mains

Roast sirloin OR fillet of beef with a rich Madeira gravy, served with a Hollandaise sauce

Fillet of pork with a creamy prune, chestnut and brandy sauce

John Dory, with a roasted tomato and smoked bacon salsa

Noisettes of lamb wrapped in bacon and served with rosemary and redcurrant jus

Roast Cornish duck with quince and figs

Butternut squash steak with harissa butter, served with a chickpea and tomato stew with Moroccan spices (plant based)

Mushroom risotto with Parmesan and cream (V

Vegetables

Dauphinoise, Boulangère, Roast, Sautéed or Creamy mashed potato

Roasted carrots with garlic and ginger

Roasted parsnips

Leeks with a Gruyere cheese sauce

Red cabbage with orange, apples, onions and cloves

Brussels sprouts with bacon and chestnuts

A selection of steamed, seasonal, local vegetables

Desserts

Prune and Armagnac tart with Chantilly cream

Steamed ginger pudding with hot chocolate sauce

Traditional crème brûlée

Hazelnut praline and chocolate tart served with Cornish clotted cream

Tiramisu

Pistachio and lemon torte served with homemade vanilla ice cream

 

How It Works

Included is William’s homemade bread and pre-dinner nibbles, please choose what starter, main and dessert you would like to offer your guests. We ask that you give your guests a maximum of two choices per course.

Please also let us know if you would like any additional dishes such as sorbets, cheese course added.
